In 2014, we started growing shiitake, oyster, and lion's mane mushrooms year-round. You may have bought our mushrooms at Whole Foods or Pepper Place Farmers' Market.

We will be ending our mushroom operation in December of 2017 to focus on our vegetable operation.

Many of our varieties we've collected ourselves in the woods of Alabama and Georgia.

We then use a small sample of the mushroom to culture it on microbiological growth media where it can be stored for decades. We have some mushroom strains that are nearly three decades old. We can then grow this mushroom preserving its unique look, flavor, and genetic diversity.
